“Then you shall sound aloud the ram’s horn in the seventh month on the tenth day of the month; on the Day of Expiation you shall sound the trumpet throughout all your land. And you shall sanctify the fiftieth year, and “proclaim liberty throughout the land to all its inhabitants. It shall be a jubilee for you; and each of you shall return to his possession, and each of you shall return to his family”—Lev. 25:9-­10

Dear saints,

The churches in Indiana and Michigan would like to invite you to “sanctify the fiftieth year” and join us for a two week’s sounding of the ram’s horn to trumpet throughout our land “release to the captives, and recovery of sight to the blind, to send away in release those who are oppressed, to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, the year of jubilee.”

We will be holding a two-week gospel festival from Saturday, January 26th, through Monday, February 11, 2019, the first week being in Indianapolis and the second week in Ann Arbor.

Please pray for this time, that people would have their sight recovered, that they would be released from their captivity, slavery and oppression, and that they would be brought to God as their portion and to the church as their family.

We welcome all saints to come, blend, and join the daily gospel activities, or to serve with the practical services that support those going out. Saints can join for any length of time.

For all who are burdened to join, we ask that you fellowship with the responsible brothers in your locality, and then contact the coordinating brothers in the locality you wish to join who will give you a way to communicate the dates that you wish to participate.

Dear saints,

During fellowship of the coworkers after the Memorial Day, 2018 weekend conference in Kansas City, it became clear that now is time for all those in the Lord’s recovery in the whole USA to work together in one work, moving on from a passive oneness to an active oneness.

For this purpose, we will be having a special conference for the churches in the heartland of the United States over the Labor Day weekend this year. The title of the conference will be something like, “The Situation of the US and the Direction of the Lord’s Move.” We hope that all of us saints will mark this on our calendars and set this time apart to hear the blowing of the trumpet for this one work (Num. 10:2).

Also, for the purpose of gaining young people off of the college campuses, a fund has been established called the Midwest Gospel Work. We invite you to visit the website www.midwestgospelwork.org to read about it and give as the Lord would lead you. If all the saints in the churches in the Midwest would give $25 each month, our current need to build campus teams would be met. We may either give online, make designated offerings in the church offering box, or mail our gifts to the Midwest Gospel Work, 3931 West Irving Park Road, Chicago, IL 60618.

Yesterday we met with the architect and project manager for our new building.

Everything went smoothly. The architect will now work on more drawings for us. Please continue to pray that the Lord will lead us step by step in the remodeling to meet the needs of the church for His corporate expression.
